Climate Cafe

Join us for a Climate Café, a welcoming and supportive space to reflect on the emotional and personal side of the climate crisis. Climate Cafés are not about solutions or action plans, they’re about connection. They offer a calm, confidential environment where you can share your thoughts and feelings, or simply listen. There’s no pressure to speak or contribute in any particular way. Just being present matters.

As part of this special Welcome event, a climate-friendly lunch will be provided, and we’re delighted to be joined by Dr James Dunk, environmental historian and researcher in planetary health and human wellbeing at the University of Sydney. He is an experienced facilitator with Psychology for a Safe Climate and will draw on their model to facilitate this climate café.

All students and staff are welcome, whether you're deeply engaged in climate issues or simply curious about what others are feeling.
