The Acknowledgment of Country, and recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ history and custodianship of Australia, is an important start to understanding the cultural landscape in which we learn and do business. 

Start your study in the Business School with an exploration of what it means as a Non-Indigenous student to Acknowledge Country. You will have the opportunity to workshop your own Acknowledgement of Country to use throughout your degree and into your future in business.

Welcome to our Algebra Essentials workshops! 

This series of two workshops will help you to consolidate your knowledge of the topics in algebra that are essential for success in your courses. 

They are 2-hours in duration and will be conducted online over Zoom.

Welcome to the Bachelor of Wildlife Conservation (Taronga) AND the Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Taronga Wildlife Conservation).  You are embarking on 3 years of theory and practice behind why wildlife and biodiversity is important, how we effectively measure it at different scales, and what actions we can take to slow or reverse the decline.  This knowledge will for the basis for you to have a career in wildlife conservation, environmental science, ecology and research to name a few.
 
Join your Degree Coordinator for an overview of your Wildlife Conservation degree to help you understand what your studies will look like.  Learn everything you need to know about the components of your curriculum, your cognate major, and all the requirements you need to tick off before you graduate. We’ll answer questions such as: what are my core units; when and how often will I be at Taronga Zoo; how do I connect with other students?
 
Please note, this Orientation is only for students enrolled in the Bachelor of Wildlife Conservation (Taronga) or the Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Taronga Wildlife Conservation).
