All USU Day Trips are happening at the same time on Saturday, 15 February, so please only register for one of the following:

🐨 Taronga Zoo 
Get up close and personal with Australia’s unique wildlife at Taronga Zoo. Meet koalas, kangaroos, and echidnas while enjoying stunning views of Sydney Harbour. Taronga Zoo is the perfect blend of adventure and education, offering the chance to learn about conservation efforts and see animals from around the world.

 

🧺 The Rocks Markets & Picnic 
Every Saturday Aussies head to this market to enjoy delicious food and shop for unique, locally crafted items. But it’s not just about the market! After shopping, join us for a picnic with the most iconic view. We'll also have some games and entertainment, so you can meet new friends all whilst exploring the beautiful city of Sydney.
Please note: The picnic will be cancelled if the weather is not suitable.

A hired bus will transport you to the location; however, we kindly ask that you arrange your own return journey.

 

🐟 Sea Life Sydney Aquarium 
Dive into an underwater world right in the heart of the city! Sea Life Sydney Aquarium is home to thousands of marine creatures, including sharks, rays, and penguins. Walk through stunning underwater tunnels, learn about Australia’s diverse marine life, and experience the beauty of the Great Barrier Reef without leaving Sydney.

Work-integrated learning (WIL) provides opportunities to work on real-life projects with organisations through placements and consulting projects, while earning credit towards your degree.

Come along to our drop-in sessions to find out more about our Work-Integrated Learning programs and how to apply:

  • Week 1: Tuesday 25 and Thursday 27 February, 1 – 4 pm
  • Week 2: Tuesday 4 and Thursday, 6 March, 1 – 4 pm
  • Week 3 Tuesday 11 March, 1 – 4 pm
  • From Week 4 to Week 13: Wednesdays, 2 – 3 pm during teaching weeks.
