Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences - Great Debate
FASS Student Affairs and Engagement
Your Faculty Welcome
What happens when six academics from six different disciplines are asked to answer the same big question?
Join us for the return of the FASS Great Debate, a long-standing faculty tradition where academics from across the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences go head-to-head in a fast-paced, thought-provoking debate. Representing each of the six Schools in FASS, speakers will tackle the question 'What is freedom?' from the perspective of their discipline, offering fresh insights, surprising perspectives, and plenty of friendly competition.
Whether you're new to FASS or returning for another semester, the Great Debate is a unique opportunity to experience the diversity of ideas that make our faculty special, while connecting with fellow students and staff from across the FASS community.
