Connect with other new students at our Speed Friending sessions, hosted by the Peer Support Advisors (PSAs)!

 

Where:

  • International Student Lounge, Level 4 Wentworth Building (G01)

 

Who:

  • All current USyd students are welcome, but new students are especially encouraged to join in!

 

What to expect:

  • Meet other students and make some new friends (who knows, you might just find your new BFF!)  
  • Games and fun designed to break the ice and help build connections
  • Conversation-starting prompts to get the chats flowing

 

Please note:

  • Each student may book only one session per day
  • All sessions will follow the same format and include the same games and speed-friending conversation prompts

Who are the Peer Support Advisors? 

The PSAs are a team of students trained to help you navigate the University's systems, services, and resources. We offer timely, personalised assistance in a range of languages and across a range of channels. We also host events to help students connect with each other, make new friends, and feel welcome on campus.  

Find us on campus: 

  • Level 3, Wentworth Building, Monday to Friday, 10am - 5pm 
  • Fisher Helpdesk (Level 3, Fisher Library), Monday to Friday, 10am - 5pm

  • This event is for current University of Sydney students only. Student ID cards will be checked upon arrival. 
  • Each student must book their own ticket - there is a booking limit of one (1) ticket per Student ID.
