Hands On with a Printing Press
Inspired by the Library’s very own 1879 Piscator Press, drop in to this printing press demonstration to have a go at creating your very own print in the Fisher Library foyer.
The rise of printing presses from the 15th century were a pivotal development for the production of books and the dissemination of ideas and knowledge – something we take for granted today. Come along and experience the inking and pressing process and walk away with your very own print.
