Library Tour 4 (Higher Degree by Research)
Higher Degree by Research students are invited to join us for a one-hour Library Tour and explore the University of Sydney Library’s standout collections, inviting study spaces, and innovative technologies. As the tour includes walking across campus, please bring water, wear comfortable shoes, and check the weather.
This route begins at the Fisher Library forecourt and takes you through Fisher Library, the Herbert Smith Freehills Law Library, and the HDR Lounge. You’ll discover our oldest and largest library, home to major Business and Arts collections as well as Rare Books and Special Collections. You’ll then visit the Herbert Smith Freehills Law Library, supporting the Law School, before heading to the HDR Lounge—a dedicated study space designed for Higher Degree by Research students.
