Law Inbound Exchange Student Welcome
Starting a semester at Sydney Law School as an inbound exchange student is an exciting opportunity. You will be studying law in a new academic environment, meeting students from across the world, and becoming part of the Sydney Law School community. This welcome is designed to help you settle in smoothly, connect with other inbound exchange students, and understand how studying law at Sydney works. The focus is on connection, practical guidance, and helping you feel confident from your first week.

You will:
⭐ Meet other students joining the Sydney Law School on exchange and begin building friendships from day one
⭐ Hear a welcome from key Law School staff, including the Head of School and Dean
⭐ Visit the mini-expo
⭐ Take part in a campus photo challenge to help you get to know the campus in a relaxed way
⭐Receive an introduction to the Australian Legal System
The program includes short sessions, space to connect with others, and time to settle in. An Introduction to the Australian Legal System session will support your academic transition and is highly recommended for all commencing students who do not hold a law degree from a common law jurisdiction. Lunch will be provided at the mini-expo.
