#2 How to....make friends & build healthy relationships

#2 How to....make friends & build healthy relationships

Mittigar means friend in Dharug, the language of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation — the traditional custodians of the land where our university stands. On your university journey, friendships and social connections can make all the difference. Together, you’ll study, grow, and one day, graduate together.

In this workshop, we’ll talk openly about building and sustaining meaningful connections during your time at USyd. We’ll cover:

  • Social circle opportunities at USyd — including USU, Clubs, and Student Life events

  • Dating and relationships, including sexual consent and health

  • Navigating healthy versus toxic relationship dynamics

  • Where to go for support

We’ll also be joined by the Peer Support Advisors (PSAs) and a special guest speaker and finish off the session by enjoying afternoon tea together.
