Australia is more than just beaches and kangaroos — it’s a land shaped by ancient traditions, diverse cultures, and vast landscapes. In this relaxed and engaging peer-led workshop, we’ll learn about Australia through some of the people who have helped shape it and give you the knowledge to explore the best parts of Sydney and beyond.  

 

Together with the Peer Support Advisors (PSAs), we’ll cover:  

• The history of Australia, with a focus on Aboriginal heritage 

• Multicultural Australia 

• Must-see sights and natural wonders in and around Sydney  

• Where and how to learn more about Australian history and culture 

 

We’ll also be joined by a special guest speaker and finish off the session by enjoying afternoon tea together.
