Free Guided Ride: Explore Sydney on Two Wheels! Limited Places Available - Bookings Essential
Join Pedal Set Go on an easy guided bike ride from the University of Sydney to the scenic Marrinawi Cove at Barangaroo. As part of Welcome Week 2024, this ride is offered to students and staff of the University of Sydney by the Sustainability Team, with support from City of Sydney.
Departure Point: Sydney Uni Sports & Aquatic Centre (SUSAC)
Please arrive at 3.15 pm for a prompt start at 3.30 pm.
Ride Highlights:
- Discover The Goods Line, Darling Harbour, and Cockle Bay Wharf.
- Visit the new outdoor city swim spot, Marrinawi Cove, Barangaroo.
- Enjoy a 1-hour stop at the cove for swimming or relaxing by the water.
What to Bring:
- Your roadworthy bike and helmet (Bike share options available - consider Beam, Hello Bike, Lime, Check apps for discount passes.)
- Bike lock
- Bathers, towel, and dry clothes
- Water bottle and snacks
- Sunscreen
Important Note:
- Marrinawi Cove is unpatrolled. Swimming is at your own risk.
- Ensure your bike is in good working condition.
