Peer Mentoring Kick-Off Event
One of the most challenging aspects of transitioning to university is getting to know individuals when a lecture can have hundreds of people. However, meeting and making friends is a critical part of university life, so students are able to develop a support network that can continue throughout their degree to support their mental and academic well-being. Speed networking is a fun, gamified way to help new students get to know each other. This event will bring first-year students together within the peer mentoring program across all majors to allow them to interact with people outside their major and mentor group.
You must attend in person. Your attendance as a Mentor or Mentor Leader is required. This is the first time you will meet your mentoring groups.
