Welcome to the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS)!

The FASS Undergraduate Welcome will prepare you for a great start and transition into university life, featuring information sessions, social activities, and your own mentoring connection of Peer Mentors and new students from your area of study!

Join the FASS Undergraduate Welcome to

• Connect with your own Peer Mentor, a senior student who will guide you from Faculty Welcome Day through to the first six weeks of the semester.
• Build your network and make new friends with other new students in your course and area of study.
• Get prepared with important information about your degree, university student services, and clubs and societies to join.
• Meet key university staff who will support your university journey including: Libraries, Learning Hub, Student Centre, and Careers Centre.
• Enjoy a delicious catered lunch, followed by a tour of the university campus with your Peer Mentor.

Depending on your degree and area of study, your Faculty Welcome Day is Tuesday 13 February or Wednesday 14 February 2024.
