Science Peer Mentoring Welcome and Lunch S2
Welcome to the Science Peer Mentoring Program!
This event is the welcome all Science mentors and new mentees to the faculty and the program. The Science Undergraduate Peer Mentoring Program, is to help first year students transition into university life as smoothly as possible.
By joining the Science Mentoring Program, you’ll:
- Be connected with a senior student Mentor in your area of study and learn from their experience.
- Gain knowledge about your degree, your field of study, and the opportunities available to you as a student in the Faculty of Science.
- Meet your peers and develop early friendships and networks.
- Find out about all the great clubs and societies at the University of Sydney, and become an active part of our community.
The Mentoring Program then continues throughout the semester, with your Student Mentor organising social catch-ups, answering your questions and giving advice on academic, professional and personal success at the University of Sydney.
Join us at this event to meet your mentors and mentoring groups, take part in a fun networking activity, and have some lunch on us!
*Please note - registering for this event will also sign you up to the Faculty of Science peer mentoring program, through our mentoring platform Chronus. The mentoring program runs throughout semester, and you will be placed in a mentoring group. Please fill out your profile so we can best match you to your group!
