At our faculty welcome day you can:

  • Meet your lecturers, staff, and peers from your school during your school welcome.
  • Learn about your discipline, including some key tips for academic success. Academic advising will also be available.
  • Get involved in various clubs and societies from across the faculty at Club Fest.
  • Learn about the ENGO Peer Mentoring program to meet new people, start making friends and build your network. 
  • Attend Lab Zero to familiarise yourself with university systems and get help to set up

  • Faculty of Engineering Dalyell Welcome – Hear from our Dalyell student representatives and staff about the Faculty’s Dalyell Program including co-curricular activities, social events, mentoring and more. Dalyell academic advising will also be available. Join us for this fun session and win some prizes!
  • Faculty of Engineering Welcome, Industry Engagement & Mentoring – Learn about practical experience requirements, including placements and internships, and hear from a panel of students on how they made the most of their studies and time with us.

  • Lab Zero - New to university systems and need some help with setting up? Come to this online workshop where we will help you log in and explore commonly used university systems (Ed, Canvas, CUSP, Sydney Student, etc.), set up the integrated development environment for your computing subjects, understand subject selection and timetabling, and more!
