6 July: Special guest Dr Steven Hitchcock from the Business School will discuss his experiences writing quality assignments and talk about what he looks for when he grades them. He’ll also demonstrate his technique to university writing with a live demonstration that will help you to set yourself up for success.

12 July: Special guest Dr Alix Thoeming, University of Sydney alumni, education expert, and first year teacher  will talk about what academics expect from you as a student, what you should expect from your teachers, and where to go if you need help at any point.

During these online events you will also:

• Hear how the University’s Centre in China can support you

• Receive advice from current students

• Get information and resources to help you transition into student life.

As the Centre in China will be joining this webinar, there may be some aspects presented in Mandarin.
